I have read this book while still addicted to porn and it helped me a lot recover and repent. This book is deep, very biblical and has many quotes from the early church fathers.

The Life of Repentance and Purity provides readers with a comprehensive overview of the practice of repentance and purity, essential aspects of Christian life. Pope Shenouda III draws on Scripture, the Church Fathers, his own experience of desert monasticism, and his experience as a shepherd to millions of Christians to provide a practical understanding of how to live a life of continually turning to God.

This book helped me tremendously repent and draw near to God. My favorite quote from it is the following

"What is amazing in these stories of repentance is how fornicators yield to the Lord quickly. In fact, this is not strange, because most of these fornicators did not have hard hearts. They had, instead, emotional hearts, which yielded to love quickly. However, these hearts went astray when they directed their feelings toward the body. The body defeated them. When they found true love from God, or from His saints, they returned quickly. Compassion and love were already there, but they lacked guidance and direction. This is contrary to those of hard hearts who did not respond quickly, and might never respond at all. Therefore, the Lord rightly said to some of the elders of the Jews who were hard-hearted: "Assuredly, I say to you that tax collectors and harlots enter the kingdom of God before you" (Matthew 21.31)."
