Once I was serving on a youth event and I started preparing the spiritual material for a slideshow that I am presenting. I worked on my own at the beginning and after finishing everything I showed Abouna my work for review but I wasn't open for criticism and I was doing it because of the rules not out of honest need for review. Abouna was overall satisfied with my work but he recommended a minor change that I could have done easily. But out of arrogance I answered Abouna "Everything is already done and It's going to take a lot of work to make this change".

Abouna replied with great humility "It's ok habiby, God bless!".

Few Hours later my computer got a virus and I lost of all my data ! It was a tough lesson for me because I relied on my wisdom not God's wisdom. I redid my slideshow and incorporated the changes that Abouna recommended. From that moment on I learned to never underestimate priests opinion and I take their opinion very seriously even if I don't understand!

Thank God Abouna Luke Istefanous and my father of confession guided my steps through the whole process of book writing. But after printing this book based on advice from my father of confession; I reached to holy men of God to review the book and here is the feedback I received so far.

​I think it was very good from the spiritual side. It definitely spends much time on the experience of one person who suffered from certain social and family problems. But it's definitely a book of hope and victory.

This book shows the work of God in his children who wants Him from their heart. This is a very nice and easy to read book that clearly and honestly shows how young people can be lead into pornography and sexual addiction, but also how there is hope for healing and change with God's help and the churches sacramental life, especially confession. Lazarus gives very practical advice not just to people who are struggling with pornography but also to parents when raising their children and to Sunday school teachers and servants in the church who can also be positive role models for children. He draws from the Bible and the church fathers as resources. I recommend this book to anyone struggling with addiction as well as to parents and church servants. thanks.. Hi All I started to read the Lazarus book and I highly recommend all parents, servants, neighbors, and even school teachers to read it. The book is really deep and has multi use. Meaning it is not just for porn addiction but also speaks to any addiction (phone, social media, drugs,etc). It also talks about some environmental factors that could lead to an addiction. So the book also teaches about environmental factors and helps us understand them. This in turn helps us to prevent creating an environment that allows others to go to an addiction or at the very minimum not contribute to such an environment. I would sat hurry up and pickup a copy as once people cme to know about the book I am sure it will run out. I was hooked when I read the first few pages in uncle Madgy's book store and had to buy for my library

This book addresses issues of sexually addicted behavior that starts in young people who have trouble understanding their situation and get caught in a a vicious cycle and don't know where to go. The story evolves to hope and healing with the help of the church and good Christians priests, servants and leaders who helped and supported this young man. Worth reading.

This is the story of a young teen faced with his own sexuality and got lost in porn addiction because he did not have any guidance. All parents should read and understand that their children are facing a daily assault from all sorts of media, friends, tv etc. As a parent you have a duty to talk and explain the sexual facts in truth, this subject is not taboo anymore we owe it to the kids to make it clear and protect them from falling pry to Satan. We cannot leave them learn about this from bad sources they need to know that they can trust their parents to talk openly and frankly. Having a good religious base is the salvation for them and the adults as well.
